Bolt

So, the class was good. I'm glad to be done with ARCGIS for now....
Don't really have any questions.

The last movie I saw was Bolt. And, I would recommend it to anyone. I think its the funniest show I've seen in a long time . . . mainly due to Rhino the Hamster (who happens to be nine part wolf and a little bit of wolverine).

Great show.

GPS

It was pretty cool seeing all how the GPS works.

Question: are there online databases of GPS coordinates of well known landmarks that you can just download into ARCGIS instead of having to go get them yourself?

Hardest thing I have to do: Math 113 Final. . . . .

Web Sites

It was cool to learn how to color different polygon shapes. ARCGis isn't very intuitive though.

My favorite websites are: cnn.com, nationalgeographic.com, and . . . . yeah, thats it.

Christmas?

Um, it was cool to finally figure out the georeferencing stuff.

No questions.

I don't start listening to christmas music until after thanksgiving.

This is for my November 20

Um, so I'm trying to catch up with my blog spot. Learning about ArcGIS is cool. I hope I can remember everything.

I've been reading a lot lately. Probably my favorite has been Mere Christiantiy, by C.S. Lewis. Amazing how close a guy could come to being Mormon. . . .

Joke

The review was really helpful. Thank you. Muchas Gracias.

Didn't really have any questions.

An Englishman, a Frenchman, and a Russian were looking at a painting of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The Englishman said, "They are strolling through a park . . . they must be English." The Frenchman said, "Zey are beautiful, and zey are naked. Zey must be French." The Russian said, "They have no clothes, they have only apples to eat, and someone is telling them it is Paradise. They have to be Russian."

PowerPoint

So, I was pretty impressed with the Master Slide thingy. I can see how that would be useful.
Question: is there a way to change the background of just a single slide? I don't know.

Adam's presentation:

Don't let audience see you setting up. Don't use fancy effects. Don't make really loud noises that go with the effects. Don't make effects that take forever. Ok, it gets kind of annoying when he changes the background every single time. Don't admit you didn't practice. Way too much noise. Don't show really pixelated pictures that are low resolution. Make sure your text and stuff fits on the screen. Make the text visible. Again, don't use fuzzy low res pictures. Too much text on one page.
